CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Head women's tennis coach Shari Reed has announced the addition of Taylor Todd to the University of Charleston program for the fall 2012 season.

Todd joins the regional championship challengers from Westerville Central High School in Worthington, Ohio. She is a two-time district finalist as the No. 1 player for WCHS having earned team most valuable player honors for three consective seasons.

As a four year varsity player Todd has spent the last three seasons at the top of the Westerville Central lineup. Along with being a district title contender Todd is well balanced in the classroom as a four-year scholar athlete honoree.

She joins a Golden Eagles program that is coming off its fourth-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament after capturing the 2011-12 West Virginia Conference title.
