Not to be left out is Coach Grassie who was tabbed the Coach of the Year in the WVIAC for the second straight season.  Grassie, in his second year at the helm of the UC Squad, led the Golden Eagles to a 13-1-4 record, including a 9-0 mark against WVIAC teams.  Charleston was ranked in the top five by the NSCAA and earned a bid in the NCAA National Tournament.  Grassie had seven players earn all-conference accolades, including five that earned first-team honors.  This is also the fourth consecutive season that a UC coach has been named Coach of the Year with former coach Chad Duernberger winning the award in 2009 & 2010.
