University of Charleston Athletics

A four-year letterwinner for the Charleston men’s rowing squad from 1997-2000. Popovic was a highly decorated member of the men’s team as he led UC to three consecutive Governor’s Cup Championships from 1997-2000 with a national championship title during that period.

Individually, Popovic concluded his career with 21 gold, two silver and three bronze medals combined from pair and double commpetitions.

Popovic is a native of Belgrade,Serbia and currently resides in Washington D.C.
