Dave was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003. Dave was a 4 year letter winner in basketball, baseball and golf. 

Specifically Dave excelled in golf. He played on 1st Morris Harvey College/ University of Charleston Golf Team, was WVIAC All Conference three times and was WVIAC Golf Player of the Year Runner Up. Dave also made the WVIAC Top 5 and the WVIAC All Time Golf Team. He average 72.5 and holds Course Records at: Big Bend Golf Course, Meadowbrook Course and the Sandy Brae Course.
