Sarluca was a four year-letter winner and starter for the Morris Harvey College Baseball team from 1964-67.  He was a career .300 hitter in the Maroon and Gold and was named 3^rd Baseman fo the Decade (1960's) for his accomplishments on the diamond during his four seasons.  Sarluca was twice named WVIAC 1^st Team All-Conference while at Morris Harvey, 1965 & '67.  He also started and lettered on the first Morris Harvey soccer team in 1966.
