Elbert Martin 'Brownie' was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993. While at Morris Harvey College he played football, baseball, basketball and ran track. He was a 4 year letter winner in all 4 sports, Senior Class President and President-Orator Plerian-Phi Delta.
Notably during his athletics career, in football, he was participated in the 7-0 Victory Over Marshall, Notre Dame & Knute Rockne and was team Captain.
During his time playing baseball he played in an undefeated season. In basketball he played in the game that beat Marshall. And in track he raced at the State Track Meet and then went on to to be a Track Coach with a 47-0 Victory over Marshall.
