Frank was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992. While at Morris Harvey College Frank lettered for all 4 years in football and basketball.

In football, he was in the WVIAC Conference Champion 3 times and played in the Tangerine Bowl (35-14).

In baseball, he was in the WVIAC Conference Champion 3 times.

After graduation in 1951 he coached at Chagrin Valley Conference High School where he won Coach of the Year. He also coached at Greater Cleveland High School where he won Coach of the Year twice.
