Curry, a 1968 graduate of Morris Harvey, finished his 4-year career scoring over 1,000 points for the Maroon & Gold and nearly accumulated 1,000 rebounds. 

He was a key member of MHC teams that won a pair of WVIAC Regular Season titles ('66 & '67) and WVIAC Tournament Championships ('67 & '68).
 
Curry was a member of two Golden Eagle teams that garnered national notoriety, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament Sweet 16 in 1966 and the Final Four in 1967.
