Johnson, a 1998 graduate of UC, is one of the most decorated golfers and now coach in Golden Eagle history.  As a player he won two WVIAC championships and was named 1998 WVIAC Player of the Year. As a coach his accomplishments are too many to list highlighted by six conference coach of the year awards and three times named Atlantic Region Coach of the year along with multiple conference championship and NCAA DII National Championship appearances.
