Marcum was named MEC Men's T&F Athlete of the Week this past week.Marcum, a sophomore from Madison, W.Va., won the 400 meters at the VertKlasse Meeting at High Point University. Marcum's time of 47.93 was an NCAA provisional mark and currently is 13th-best in the country in that event.
