Thank you for your coverage of Golden Eagle athletics. The UC Sports Information Office is proud to offer a full range of services for members of the working media. To assist you in your coverage, please take note of our general media policies outlined below. If you should have further questions, please contact us at the address or numbers above.

Media Information

Interviews
All interviews with University of Charleston coaches, student-athletes and staff members must be arranged through the Office of Sports Information. Phone numbers for student-athletes will not be released. Immediately following games the locker rooms are closed. Player and coach interviews, however, may be conducted outside locker rooms or on the playing surface after a minimal, 10-minute cooling off period.

Practices
Practices policies vary per sport, but are generally open to the media. Prior knowledge of attendance is appreciated, especially if arranged player/coach interviews are requested.

Game Day Coverage and Press Passes
Any media member covering any contest hosted by UC is asked to notify the Sports Information Office at least 24 hours prior to the event via phone or email so that we can better prepare to provide necessary accommodations. While last minute media are welcome, prior knowledge of your arrival is much appreciated. For most sports, the Office of Sports Information will provide rosters and updated statistics prior to the contest and statistical information afterward.

Technology
Wireless Internet is available in Wehrle Sr. Athletic Arena, University of Charleston Stadium, and Triana Field. Additional internet needs can be requested in advance.

Radio
Any visiting radio broadcasts must reserve their seating the week of the scheduled contest. Prior to arrival, the office of sports information will have available the phone line number and internet hook-up information upon arrival.

Photographers
Photographers are asked to stay at least 10 feet from the playing surface and shoot from standard shooting positions. Similar policies apply for credentials and seating reservations.
