Thompson, a senior midfielder from Shady Spring, W.Va., scored a goal in each of Charleston's matches this week including the game-winner in UC's 2-1 victory over Ashland University on Saturday and had the Golden Eagles' lone goal in a 1-1 draw at Fairmont State.  Her finish against Ashland was world-class, striking a volley from outside the 18 that found the top left corner of the net improving UC's record to 3-2-3 overall and 2-1-3 in Mountain East play.
