Nelson, a redshirt junior linebacker from Springfield, Ohio, totaled 10 tackles, including six for loss and three sacks to go along with returning a fumble for a touchdown in Charleston's 19-16 loss to Fairmont St. last Thursday. He currently 7th in the nation in Division II with 5.5 sacks on the season.
