James, a freshman sprinter from Lakeland, Fla. helped Charleston to a Golden Eagle Invitational title by edging runner-up Glenville State by a single point, 117-116.  James set meet records in the 200m (26.02) and 400m (1:00.46) along with teaming up to set a new mark in the 4x400m (4:14.79).  The times established by James are leading marks so far in the Mountain East Conference.
