Charleston's Raziyah Farrington has been named Mountain East Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her efforts last week.

Farrington, a senior from Chapel Hill, N.C., helped UC solidify its spot at the top of the MEC standings with a pair of victories last week.

She went for 30 points and had five steals and two assists in a win over Urbana before notching 34 points, six steals, four assists and four blocked shots in a vitory over Notre Dame. For the week she averaged 32.0 points, 5.5 steals, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Golden Eagles.
