Chyress Lockhart was named Mountain East Conference Player of the Week after leading the Golden Eagles to a pair of victories.

Lockhart, a 5-6 junior from Euclid, Ohio, averaged 17 points and six assists as the Golden Eagles ran their winning streak to five games and secured a third-place finish in the MEC standings. She had 12 points to go with six assists and six rebounds in a win over Concord, and then paced the Golden Eagles with 22 points in a win over rival West Virginia State. She also contributed six assists and three steals against the Yellow Jackets.
