GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Charleston (6-4, 4-3) used three quick strike touchdowns of 81 yards or longer to bolt past Glenville State (4-6, 3-4) 44-16.

The Golden Eagles received an 82-yard pass from Maurice Leak to Andre Higgins to open the score. An 81-yard connection from Leak to Jordan Roberts pushed the UC edge to 14-0 early in the second quarter. Austin McClain's 90-yard interception return ended a GSC scoring threat and gave the Golden Eagles a 37-16 advantage in the fourth quarter.

Leak led Charleston by rushing for 131 yards on 22 carries. He also completed 5 of 12 passes for 228 yards. Higgins notched 126 yards on two receptions.

Glenville State's Gabe Profitt hit on 21 of 32 passes for 188 yards and two scores. Joe Mesadiue rushed 19 times for 78 yards and Jordan Griffin caught eight passes for 80 yards.

Charleston tallied a 514-316 advantage in total offense, including a 286-128 bulge on the ground.
