Zach Grossi passed for 302 yards and two touchdowns, and Tae Gilbert ran for 160 yards and a pair of scores to lead Concord to a 37-28 West Virginia Conference win against the University of Charleston Saturday at Callaghan Stadium in Athens.
Thomas Mayo caught nine passes for 186 yards and two more touchdowns for the Mountain Lions (3-1, 1-1).
UC (2-2, 1-1), which trailed by as many as 17 points twice in the game, made it interesting in the fourth quarter.

After a Brandon Strupp 30-yard field goal put Concord on the scoreboard, the Mountain Lions converted two UC turnovers into touchdowns for a 17-3 lead at the half.
The Mountain Lions used two Gilbert touchdown runs, including an 80-yard burst, for a 31-14 lead after three quarters.
Aaron Dunlap led UC on defense with 11 total tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Craig Kampfer had three of UC's seven tackles for losses.
