SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The University of Charleston women's soccer team battled conference foe Shepherd to a scoreless tie in WVIAC women’s soccer action, Saturday morning.

Shepherd held a slight 9-6 edge in shots, while corner kicks were even at 4-4.

Charleston goalkeeper Catherine Perry recorded five saves for the Golden Eagles in the contest.

Shepherd moves to 7-6-2 overall, 4-2-2 in conference play, while University of Charleston is now 4-8-2, 3-3-2. UC returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 23 as they continue their road swing with a trip to East Stroudsburg for a 1:00 pm matchup.
