ELKINS, W.Va. - Freshman Holly Bigg has meshed into her new role on the offensive side of the ball the last two games for the University of Charleston women's soccer team. An overtime goal leading the Golden Eagles past conference foe Davis & Elkins knotches Bigg's second career goal and second consecutive game winner.

Charleston (2-1, 2-0) handled the ball well against the Senators outshooting D&E 13-9, yet it was UC goalkeeper that was kept busy on the evening as Catherine Perry was forced to make seven saves.

Perry's supurb play in goal kept her team in the game for much of regulation, but too Bigg just six minutes to strike in overtime as she netted the only score of the contest off a great pass from Brittany Loveland to seal the 1-0 conference win for the Golden Eagles.

The Golden Eagles will look for their third-straight victory in a marquee matchup between the top two teams in the WVIAC as they travel to face WV Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 17 for a 5:00 pm contest.
