GREENSBURG, Pa. - The University of Charleston women's basketball team struggled from the floor shooting just 32 percent as they suffered a road West Virginia Conference loss to Seton Hill 80-63, Saturday afternoon.

Erika Rousculp (Worthington, OH) provided the highlights on the day for Charleston (4-7, 3-4) as she continued to stay hot and show why she is ranked as one of the top post players in NCAA Division II. Rousculp entered the day ranked second in Division II with a 14.3 rebound per game average. Against the Griffins (4-9, 2-4) she booked a team-high 15 points and 16 rebounds.

SHU hit 5-of-10 attempts from behind the arc in the opening stanza, while forcing 10 Golden Eagle turnovers to hold a 10-point (38-28) lead at halftime. The second half offered little reprieve for Charleston as Seton Hill continued to scorch the nets hitting 53 percent of their shots as the visitors were unable to cut into the double-digit deficit.

Four of the University of Charleston's five starters concluded the afternoon in double figures scoring. Rousculp led the way with Chrissy Keir (Savreville, NJ) following just behind at 14 points, while Nichole Perry (Poseyville, IN) and Lauren Davis (Cincinnati, OH) rounded out the top scorers with 12 points each. The four UC starters accounted for all but seven points in the game for the Golden Eagles, while the Griffins received a 36 point effort off the bench.

UC will look to snap their current skid with a difficult task against the top-scoring women's team in Division II coming to Eddie King Gym, Monday evening. The Golden Eagles will tip off against Glenville State at 6:00 pm on Jan. 9.
