CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Rob Vincent (Liverpool, England ) reminded regional contender Bloomsburg why he is a three-time All-American selection with three goals as the Golden Eagles put away the Huskies 4-1, on a damp Friday evening.

Newcomer Michael Hagarty (Wellington, New Zealand) gave No.11 ranked Charleston (5-0-2) the early advantage to be sure the home team had plenty of breathing room as he put away a rebound after Ceth Locklear (Magnolia, TX ) blasted a near point-blank shot which was initially saved by the Husky keeper.

The Golden Eagles dominated possession for the entire first half to outshoot Bloomsburg 13-6, yet the Hagarty goal was the only mark on the scoreboard headed into the halftime break.

After halftime it was Vincent who went to work in sealing a big regional victory. He put together an impressive three goal tangent that easily put the game out of reach for the visitors as Jules Gabbiadini (York, England) and Renan Ramos (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) collected assists. Vincent's final tally came on a penalty kick after Ramos took a vicious hit five yards in front of the goal.

Bloomsburg tacked on a late goal going away as the University of Charleston looked to move up the next weeks poll after putting the victory in the books. For the evening Charleston outshot the Huskies 18-11 with goalkeeper Sean Teepen (Cincinnati, OH ) managing four saves.

UC now moves to another regional game on Sunday against Urbana who received votes in the most recent national coaches poll.
