Wise, Va. - The University of Charleston completed a succesful weekend of women's tennis after defeating the UVa-Wise Cavaliers 8-1 Sunday morning.

For the weekend, Charleston would drop only match between the MEC wins over Concord on Saturday and the Cavaliers today.  The ladies sit at 3-2 overall at the midway point of the season and 3-1 in the Mountain East Conference.

The Golden Eagles will get a much needed rest before returning to the court Saturday to host Shepherd University with an 11am start before departing for Buckhannon to face the Bobcats from WV Wesleyan.
