Charleston, W.Va. -Third-seeded Charleston swept past Shepherd, 5-0, in the MEC Women's Tennis Championship quarterfinals. The Golden Eagles lost just three games in three doubles matches, and then Jackie Backos and Taylor Todd won their No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches, respectively, to close out the Rams.

UC advances to take on second-seeded West Liberty at 2 p.m.
