CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Charleston picked up another win in women's tennis Saturday defeating Centre College 8-1 at the Charleston Tennis Club.
The Golden Eagles swept all three doubles matches to get the day started strong, then followed by by winning five of the six singles matches to cruise to the 8-1 team win.
Pena, Hensley, Bakos and Pierron all won their matches in straight sets for the Charleston squad and Mallika Mali pulled out a third set super-tiebreaker to continue to winning ways from the fall.
The women get back on the courts next Sunday as they travel to Tampa, Florida during spring break to play five matches in five days.
