Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The #4 University of Charleston Men's Soccer Team continued their success in an exciting Mountain East Conference match up that was determined by a late pair of goals to beat Urbana University and improve their record to 6-0 and 3-0 in MEC play.

The Golden Eagles came out firing in their usual form but struggled to find the back of the net. The closest chance came when Lucas Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) received a great through ball and fired a shot that was saved by Urbana's goalkeeper Nathan Jones. The half ended with UC having the edge of 7-1 in shots.
 
The second half started off in similar fashion as Charleston tried to push for the opening goal of the match. However, a late push by Urbana found them on the score sheet first in the 78^th minute as Raymond Roberts placed a perfect shot top corner against UC's goalkeeper Justin Bryant (Amelisaburg, Ontario). The Golden Eagles were up for the challenge as they equalized shortly after as Kevin Feucht (Schwetzingen, Germany) finished a loose ball in the box. With just two minutes remaining, Captain Conor Branson (Pontefract, England) put away the game winning goal with a beautiful strike from 30-yards out. Urbana continued to push players up for one last chance but the Charleston defense was up for the challenge to seal the win.
 
UC is back in action Wednesday for another MEC match up as they host Wheeling Jesuit University with kick-off slated for 7pm.
