CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston women's tennis team closed out their fall regular season with a 5-4 non-conference win over Southern Indiana University at Schoenbaum Courts on Sunday afternoon. 
 
The Golden Eagles suffered only one loss to go 8-1 heading into this week's Mountain East Conference Tournament Championship. UC will be the no. 2 seed going into the conference tournament and earn a first round bye as only six teams advance to the conference postseason. Charleston's home courts will be the site of the three-day event hosted by the Mountain East Conference with the finals set for Sunday, October 18^th.
