CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The UC Women's Tennis team won 26 of 27 matches over the course of the weekend, defeating Shepherd, Alderson-Broaddus and Fairmont State to improve their undefeated record to 6-0. 

Coach Shari Reed was able to play her entire roster and rest some of her players heading into Tuesday's rivalry match with preseason MEC favorite West Virginia State University. 

UC was on the short end of three close matches last season with the Yellow Jackets, once in the MEC Finals and once in the NCAA Tournament.  Tuesday's match with WVSU is scheduled for 3:30 PM at Schoenbaum Courts at the Kanawha City Community Center.
