BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The UC Women's Tennis team picked up one win and a lost one Saturday at the Bloomsburg Duals hosted by Bloomsburg University of the PSAC.
Charleston began play Saturday morning in a regional match against Chestnut Hill College of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.  Chestnut Hill took care of Charleston, defeating the Golden Eagles 5-0.
The Golden Eagles continued play later that afternoon to take on Philadelphia University. UC picked up a win on the No. 1 and 3 doubles courts to start the match. Freshman
Alize Uyttenhove clinched the match with a score of 7-5, 6-4 at the #6 singles position.
Charleston (15-7) continues play Sunday afternoon to take on Slippery Rock University in an important regional match that will have NCAA Tournament implications.
