ERIE, Pa. - The University of Charleston Women's Tennis team traveled to Erie, Pennsylvania this weekend to play in the two-day ITA Regional Championships event hosted by Mercyhurst University that finished up Sunday afternoon at Pennbriar Athletic Club.

Highlighting UC's play was the doubles tandem of Taylor Todd & Jackie Bakos.  Bakos and Todd advanced to the finals of the Women's Doubles Consolation bracket before falling 8-6 to Amanda Bruscemi and Kylee Woodman from Slippery Rock University.

Charleston travels to Athens, W.Va. this Thursday for their second MEC match of the season to face Concord University before making their home debut on September 30, hosting West Virginia Wesleyan College at Schoenbaum Courts in Kanawha City at 3PM.
