WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Charleston closed the Mountain East Conference regular season with a road victory at West Liberty University, defeating the Hilltoppers 6-3 at the H. Edgar Martin Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.

The win gives the Golden Eagles (7-1, 6-1 MEC) a second place regular season finish in Mountain East play heading into next weekend's MEC Tournament Championship. The tournament championship will be held in Huntington, W.Va. at the Brian David Fox Tennis Center from Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23. An alternate indoor location will be at the Huntington Tennis Club should rain enter the weekend forecast.
