FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Charleston opened the 2016 MEC women's tennis schedule with a 9-0 sweep of Fairmont State University Wednesday afternoon on the Fighting Falcon campus.
 
All 10 Golden Eagles saw action in the victory as UC earned all three doubles points before capturing wins on all six singles courts.
