SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Charleston made the most of their long trip to the eastern panhandle of West Virginia by defeating the Golden Rams of Shepherd University 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.  The win takes the Golden Eagles to 2-0 overall and in Mountain East Conference play.
 
UC has a full week off before hosting UVa.-Wise next Saturday at the Ivan F. Bolarsky Tennis Center at Coonskin Park.
