CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston women's tennis improves to 7-0 after posting a 9-0 shutout of the Concord University Mountain Lions (0-6).
Charleston built a sizeable advantage in doubles, winning all three sets to hold a 3-0 lead going in to singles play.
The Golden Eagles cruised through singles play, taking all six sets, and only giving up two games as a team. Charleston's No. 1 in singles, Katie Swann took a 6-0 victory in two sets for the Golden Eagles.
Charleston will host cross-town MEC rival, West Virginia State on Wednesday, October 4.
