CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston women's soccer team (6-6-4 5-5-4 MEC) took home a 2-0 victory over West Liberty ( 4-9-2, 3-9-2 MEC) on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
-With Just under 20 minutes to play in the first half, Claire Couturier opened up the scoring for the Golden Eagles when she finished a ball just inside the 6-yard box to give UC the 1-0 lead.
-A mere 2 Minutes into the second half senior forward Lyndsey Thompson have the Golden Eagles a 2-0.
-The two teams battled through the rest of the second half with the Hilltoppers outshooting the Golden Eagles 5-3. Charleston claimed the 2-0 victory, advancing to 6-6-4 on the season.
