CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles (7-1) fell to the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets (4-0) on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After falling in no. 1 doubles to the Yellow Jackets, the Golden Eagles were able to tie it up with the 8-4 win by Edwards and Slusarciuc. After fall in in a 9-8 thriller in no. 3 doubles, the Yellow Jackets entered singles play with a 2-1 lead over the Golden Eagles. The two teams tied in singles play 3-3, giving the Yellow Jackets the 5-4 victory over the Golden Eagles.
