ORLANDO, Fla. – Charleston began their Spring Break play at the USTA National Campus on Sunday afternoon with a 6-3 match win over an Atlantic Region opponent, Seton Hill University.
UC held a 2-1 advantage after doubles, taking No. 1 & 2 doubles courts by identical 8-4 scores. The Golden Eagles won four of six singles courts en route to defeating the Griffins as Jackie Bakos provided the match clincher at No. 4 singles.
Charleston improves their overall record to 13-1 overall with the victory. UC returns to the courts tomorrow to face University of Sioux Falls.
