How it Happened
-The Golden Eagles found the back of the net first with a goal by senior midfielder, Lyndsey Thompson in the 19
th minute.
-A mid second half foul in the box gave the Falcons an opportunity to tie the game up with a penalty shot. Fairmont's Abigail Johnson put the ball past the Charleston keeper form the penalty spot.
-After two overtime periods the score settled with a 1-1 tie.
