CHARLESTON, W.Va. – No. 5 Charleston (9-0-1, 8-0 MEC) cruised past the West Liberty Hilltoppers (2-7-0, 2-6-0 MEC) behind a stellar performance from Christos Charalambous.

How it Happened
The first half was scoreless for both teams, with each only tallying three shots each. After the break Charleston kept a constant attack, notching 12 shots in the second half to just two from the Hilltoppers.
 
In the 49^th minute, Leon Kroiss headed the call for the Golden Eagles first goal. Six minutes later Charalambous played a ball off a deflection to Freddy Tracey who put the ball away to put the Golden Eagles up 2-0.
 
After assisting the first two goals for Charleston Charalambous put goal number three away for UC in the 64^th minute. The final goal for UC was scored by Cristhian Quintero on a ball played into the box by Ettore Ballestracci.
 
The Golden Eagles improve to 9-0-1 on the season.
