BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -- University of Charleston women's tennis improved to 4-0 on the season after knocking off the Crusaders from Belmont Abbey College, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles swept all three doubles courts to earn the point heading into singles play with a 1-0 lead over the Crusaders.  UC got wins on five of the six singles courts against Belmont Abbey to cruise to the victory, their second of the week.  
Charleston's Katie Swann and Kristine Gegeshidze head to Rome, Ga. next week to compete in the ITA DII Championships while the team doesn't return to the courts until Oct. 16 where they will host Bluefield State College.
