ORLANDO, Fla. – UC won their second straight match 9-0 on Thursday morning, as they defeat the Millersville University Marauders.  This marks the fourth win for the Golden Eagles this Spring, bringing their overall 2018 record to 13-4.
 
The Golden Eagles put on a stellar performance yet again as they sailed to victory in both doubles and singles matches. UC made quick work of their opponents, with No. 1 doubles pair Katie Swann and Elise Edwards leading the pack with an 8-1 win. Briahn Guthrie and Silvana Slusarciuc at No. 2 doubles defeating their opposing pair 8-1. No. 3 doubles team Alize Uyttenhove and Bridget Dillon finished doubles play with an 8-4 win for UC.
 
Things looked the same for Charleston in singles play, as all six spots took wins. Elise Edwards at No. 1 singles had a 6-1, 6-1 win, with Katie Swann (No. 2), Silvana Slusarciuc (No. 3), Briahn Guthrie (No. 4), Alize Uyttenhove (No. 5), and Bridget Dillon (No. 6) all chalked up important wins for UC for a 9-0 win over the Marauders.
 
UC will face Virginia State University on Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. in Petersburg, VA.
