CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles add another win to their streak, as they defeated the Salem International University Tigers 9-0 on Thursday afternoon.
For the third match in a row, Charleston women's tennis has defeated each of their opponents 9-0. These impressive performances have been led in part by No. 13 nationally ranked doubles duo Katie Swann and Kristine Gegeshidze. In doubles play, all three pairs had outstanding matches, winning with ease. Going into singles play it was a similar story, as all six spots for Charleston took wins against the Tigers, helping the Golden Eagles cruise to a 9-0 victory.
Charleston will face Virginia State University on Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. in Petersburg, VA.
