CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston fell to Mercyhurst University on Saturday afternoon, losing 8-1 to the Lakers, moving their overall record to 15-5.
 
Kristine Gegeshidze had the lone win for the Golden Eagles at the No. 2 singles spot, beating her opponent 1-6, 7-5, 6-4. In doubles play, Charleston could not keep up with the Lakers from Mercyhurst, falling in all three spots.  Singles play was more of the same story, as UC lost each spot except for Kristine Gegeshidze sitting at the No. 2 singles spot.
 
The Golden Eagles will face Slippery Rock University on Sunday, April 8^th, in Slippery Rock, PA.
