CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston had an exciting Sunday afternoon after defeating the visiting West Chester Rams 8-1 on UC's senior day.
 
The Golden Eagles began their winning day early after winning all three doubles matches to take an early lead over West Chester. Katie Swann and Elise Edwards had a victory at No. 1 doubles, and Kristine Gegeshedze and Silvana Slusarciuc showed a similar story defeating their opponents at No. 2 doubles.  Alize Uyttenhove and Bridget Dillon sealed the deal in doubles play winning 8-5v at No. 3 doubles.
 
Singles play was all Charleston as they won five out of the six singles matches on the day. No.'s 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 were all winning spots for the Golden Eagles, to end the day with an 8-1 win over the visiting West Chester Rams.
