CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles tallied two goals in their Wednesday night victory over the West Liberty Hilltoppers. First with a goal by David Achaerandio, followed by a late first half goal by Nico Engelking.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles got off to a slow start offensively, but found the net off the foot of David Achaerandio just 20 minutes into the half. Less than five minutes later Aachaerandio sent a ball across the box to Nico Engelking who scored, putting the Golden Eagles up 2-0.
 
Charleston held on to down the Hilltoppers 2-0 to open their 2018 MEC campaign.
