How it Happened
The Golden Eagles took control of the game early, as they worked the visitor's defensive skills. Charleston's sophomore Brooklyn Pannell led the scoring with 10 points, as she went 4-7 from the field goal line. UC scored 16 of their points from the paint, and 8 points off of Urbana turnovers.
 
Charleston continued their momentum, as they continued to drive offensively. UC's Pannell continued to lead the game in points with 20, while senior Dionna Sanders led UC with 6 rebounds. Charleston was 50% successful from the three-point line in the second quarter, and went 8-9 from the free throw line. The Golden Eagles led 47-24 heading into the half.
 
UC continued to lead over the Urbana Blue Knights in the third quarter of play, as Pannell continued to find the basket with 11 points. Charleston went 8-14 from the field goal line, compared to Urbana's 9-18. Both teams totaled 8 rebounds
 
The game took a halted stop in the fourth quarter after Raziyah Farrington's jumper, recognizing the senior for her 1,000
thcareer point. This achievement gave the Golden Eagles a burst of energy, finishing the game 92-63.
