ROME, GA. - After going 0-2 on day one of ITA Nationals the Golden Eagles run came to an end in Rome.
The doubles pair of Sawnn and Balakrishnan had a tough loss against Espinal and Wardenburg from Nova Southeastern, losing 6-1 in the first two sets to move to 0-1 on the day.
In their second match of the day they faced Kielan and Quagliardi from Adelphi. After a hard fought match Charleston fell 6-4, 6-2.
Match One: Espinal/Wardenburg def. Swann/Balakrishnan (6-1, 6-1)
Match Two: Quagliard /Kielan def. Swann/Balakrishnan (6-4, 6-2)
