CHARLESTON, W. Va. –The University of Charleston Golden Eagles Football team (6-3, 5-3 MEC) returns home to take on Concord University (1-8, 1-7 MEC). Senior day kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at UC Stadium. Charleston is coming off of a 49-24 road win against rival West Virginia State University.

ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
The Mountain Lions from Concord University are coming off of their first win on the season against West Virginia Wesleyan beating the Bobcats 28-24. Quarterback Kyle Akin went 14-21 with 133 yards passing and one TD, he also had 14 carries rushing for 72 yards and one TD as well. Running back Joshua Maxwell had 11 carries rushing for 39 yards and had two touchdowns in the win for Concord.
In their matchup history, Charleston holds a 5-4 record against the Mountain Lions. Charleston has won their previous four games against Concord winning their most recent matchup last season by a score of 42-21.
