CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles are heading to the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Semifinals for the fifth time in six seasons following the 2-0 win over the Franklin Peirce Ravens for the Super Region 1 Title.
The Golden Eagles (20-2-1), enter the semifinal as the No. 2 seed in the tournament after the reseeding following the conclusion of the Super Region Tournaments over the weekend. The Golden Eagles will face Super Region 2 champion Lynn University (18-0-2) in a semifinal game on Thursday at 8 p.m. (PST) at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Lynn University Blue Knights took down the Wingate Bulldogs in the Super Region 2 Championship 3-0.
The other semifinal will pit No. 1 seed Cal. State LA vs. No. 4 seed UIndy.
The national title game will be held on Saturday.
