CHARLESTON, W. VA. – The University of Charleston Women's Tennis Double of Haarini Balakrishnan and Katie Swann finished 16^th in the 2019-20 Final ITA NCAA Division II Women's National Fall Rankings. In addition, the duo finished the fall season ranked #3 in the Atlantic Region and marks the third straight year a pair from the University of Charleston Women's team has to advance to the ITA Cup.
 
The pair of Balakrishnan and Swann received an at-large bid to the ITA Cup after falling to Slippery Rock in the Atlantic Region Finals.
 
The pair fell to the #1 Nationally ranked pair of Natalie Espinal and Sarah Wardenburg of Nova Southeastern in their first match of the ITA's 6-1, 6-1 and dropped its second-round matchup to Nicole Kielan & Barbie Quagliardi of Adelphi 6-4, 6-2.
 
In their final match of ITA's, the pair fell to the 13^th ranked pair of Nina Furmaniak and Molly Helgesson of Saint Leo by a score of 4-6, 6-1, and 10-7 in a third set tie-break.
 
In addition, Swann ranks 9^th in the Atlantic Region Single's based on the results of the fall season. Full ITA Fall Rankings Below:
